RCSS organized a Planning Meeting for a possible South Asia strategic dialogue on 21st and 22nd August 2012 at Jetwing Lagoon hotel in Negombo, Sri Lanka. The broad objective of the meeting was to provide an informal setting for senior members of the strategic community in South Asia to discuss key security issues concerning the region and to work towards a cooperative dialogue mechanism for South Asia. The meeting was attended by heads of think tanks and diplomats from South Asian countries.
