Launch of the COSATT Recommendations on “Energy & Environmental Security: A Cooperative Approach in South Asia” in Sri Lanka
The COSATT recommendations on Energy and Environment Security in South Asia: A Cooperative Approach was launched in Kandy, Sri Lanka on 11/11/11 as a part of the regional launch in South Asia. The keynote address of the event was delivered by Minister of Environment of Sri Lanka. the recommendations booklet and the book were presented to Minister of Environment, Minister of Higher Education, Chief Minister of Central Province and other invitees. A distinguished gathering was present during the event. The book launch in Sri Lanka was co-organized by Central Environmental Authority (CEA) of Sri Lanka and RCSS. Energy and Environment Security in South Asia: A Cooperative Approach Project is an annual project of COSATT, convened by IPCS of New Delhi with the collaboration of the SAARC Regional Programme of KAS based in New Delhi.
